1. Introduction
Welcome to Legacy Stories. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Legacy Stories provides video production services, including filmed interviews, storytelling sessions, photo-to-video transformation, AI-enhanced visual storytelling, and documentary-style edits. All services are customised based on client input and creative direction.
3. Client Responsibilities
You confirm that you have the legal right to use and share all materials provided, and that you have obtained consent from any individuals appearing in the content.
4. Use of AI and Creative Interpretation
We use advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance and visualise your stories.
AI-generated visuals are interpretations and may not represent exact historical accuracy.
a. You acknowledge and agree that AI generated content is used to creatively interpret and visualise memories
and may not represent exact historical accuracy.
b. These visualisations may be presented as moving images, and may occasionally include sound elements
c. AI generated videos will typically appear as short snippets or excerpts integrated within the final video
d. The duration of these segments may vary, generally ranging between 15 seconds and 60 seconds per clip
e. In some cases, segments may exceed 60 seconds where appropriate to the story, subject to creative
direction and client agreement
f. All AI generated content is designed to complement the filmed interview and storytelling, not replace it
g. The "Legacy Highlights" package includes AI photo integration only, where client supplied photographs are
used as reference material to create short animated sequences that briefly bring still images to life. These
animations are typically between 5 and 7 seconds in duration per image.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you receive a personal-use license to the final video. We retain the right to use excerpts for portfolio and promotional purposes unless agreed otherwise in writing.
6. Payments
A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Full payment must be completed before final delivery. Prices are in AUD unless stated otherwise.
6.1 Revisions and Editing
We understand that adjustments may be required after the initial preview.
Up to two (2) rounds of revisions are included in the agreed price.
Additional revisions beyond this will be charged at an hourly editing rate, as agreed with the client.
Any extra work will only proceed upon client approval of the additional costs.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Deposits are generally non-refundable. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
8. Delivery
Final videos will be delivered digitally via a secure download or cloud-based platform (e.g., Google Drive or similar).
In addition, Legacy Stories may provide a physical copy of the final video on a branded USB device, subject to the agreed package.
USB devices are provided as a convenience and keepsake, and clients are encouraged to maintain their own backup copies.
While we take care in preparing and testing all deliverables, Legacy Stories is not responsible for loss, damage, or corruption of files once delivered
Any requests for additional copies or replacement USB devices may incur an additional fee
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
